Soothing Salve might be the single most versatile product we make. It's for external use only, applied directly to the skin, and families reach for it for an enormous range of everyday scrapes and skin irritation. One bottle means you're not hunting for five different products depending on what the day throws at you.*
Here's what customers have to say:
- "When we go for a long hike, it's all we take for first aid other than bandages." - E.H.
- "I used it on mosquito bites, and they dried right up." - M.M.
- "My daughter is very sensitive; most things sting when applied. This did not cause any discomfort at all." - L.V.
Pairs well with: Soothing Salve pairs naturally with Lympha Rub for topical support, or as part of a well-stocked first-aid kit for hiking, travel, or home use.*
Ingredients
This salve's herbs (Comfrey Leaf, Goldenseal Root, and Echinacea) provide the healing base, and five essential oils round out what makes this formula work:
Camphor: A classic topical essential oil, well known for its cooling, penetrating sensation and long history of traditional use for minor skin discomfort.*
Tea Tree: One of the most well-known topical essential oils, traditionally valued for its antiseptic properties, a natural anchor for a salve meant to handle cuts and scrapes.*
Wintergreen: Naturally rich in a compound closely related to aspirin, wintergreen has a long tradition of topical use for easing minor discomfort right where it's applied.*
Peppermint: Here for its cooling, topical effect specifically, the same sensation that makes a scrape or bug bite feel instantly more comfortable.*
Myrrh: A resin with a long history of topical wound care, traditionally valued for supporting healthy-looking skin as it heals.*
All five essential oils, alongside comfrey leaf, goldenseal root, and echinacea, are in a base of Kosher Vegetable Glycerine and Reverse Osmosis Water.*
