FAQ- Why don't you provide a Daily Value % on your formulas?
Posted by TriLight Health on Jun 30th 2026

Q- I love your products; however, I noticed that on other vitamins, they give a daily value percentage, so you know how much of each vitamin you're getting. Why aren't these vitamins listed?
A- Our formulas are not traditional vitamins or multivitamins. Most multivitamins are formulated with specific amounts of synthetic ingredients. Ours are made from specific herbs that are very high in a wide range of vitamins and minerals and are highly absorbable. As the FDA does not allow us to make claims in this area, we can state that our customers have used them for over 35 years with great success.
Q- How do I know what vitamins and minerals are even in your herbal multivitamins?
A- Herbs are a rich source of nutrients. They are the original multivitamin! However, they clearly do not come labeled with what exactly is in each one. Humans have been working for years to identify the various vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients in herbs and other foods. This can vary a bit from plant to plant due to factors such as soil conditions. Just as the exact % of Vitamin C can't be labeled in an orange, but we all know oranges have Vitamin C, scientists can't give us an exact % of nutrients in an herb without testing every individual product. We do know what is found in most herbs. This blog post provides extensive information and a helpful chart on the nutrients found in our herbal multivitamins.
Q- Approximately how much iron am I getting from the herbal Tri-Iron formula?
A- Again, without testing every single plant in every single batch, we don't know exactly. A good rule of thumb is that 1/4 teaspoon is roughly equivalent to 15 mg of iron. Here is the RDA chart for iron; talk to your doctor for exact dosing needs.
Q- What other nutrients are in Tri-Iron?
A- Nettle is known to be one of the most nutrient-rich plants on earth. We combine it with several other iron-rich herbs, but that's not all they contain. Here are the other vitamins, minerals, and nutrients found in Tri-Iron:
