Posted by TriLight Health on Dec 14th 2019
Shavegrass (Equisetum arvense), also known as horsetail is a plant you've likely seen growing in fields or along roadsides. This plant gets the name horsetail because it resembles a horse's tail. This herb is unique because it's used in the cosmetic industry as well as by herbalists. Shavegrass has incredible properties that support healthy hair and nails and is often added to these products. This herb is also incredibly nutrient dense. It's a favorite for herbalists to use in herbal teas and multivitamins as it is a source of vitamin C, calcium, zinc and much more. "I've taken this remedy several times when feeling achy and chilled and unsettled. I usually take it in a warm glass of water as recommended by Lyle. And, just as he said, when I get up from a night's sleep or from a nap, I've felt much better. One dose and a nap worked like a charm for my husband who came home from work with a low grade fever and an upset stomach yesterday!" Catherine Flew Away
