Herb of the Month: Blue Vervain

Herb of the Month: Blue Vervain

Posted by TriLight Health on Jul 18th 2023

Though you may have never heard of this month's herb, you've likely seen it growing near you. Blue Vervain grows prolifically throughout the United States. It is also known as Wild Hyssop and Simpler's Joy. This herb is rich in a variety of nutrients, partly due to the beautiful color this plant produces.  Perhaps best known as  its use as a Bach Flower Remedy, Indigenous healers have widely used this herb. Today herbalists use this plant primarily in teas, tinctures, capsules, and in flower remedy form.
