Herb of the Month: White Pine
Posted by TriLight Health on Nov 14th 2024
With the holiday season around the corner, we thought we'd take a look at White Pine. As a central part to our holiday decorations, pine is the perfect herb to learn about in November. Indigenous tribes have used White Pine for centuries, teaching European settlers to use it as well. The bark is most often used in herbal preparations though pine needles are sometimes used. As you can imagine, this herb is quite fragrant so it is used sparingly- a little goes a long way! Herbalists traditionally use it in teas, tinctures, and poultices.
