This pretty plant is a favorite among both herbalists and birds. Many birds use yarrow as a lining in their nest. Use of this plant in nests helps repel parasites and mosquitoes. It is a prolific plant growing under the most unlikely of circumstances. Herbalists love it because it is extremely nutrient dense and benefits almost every system in the body. Yarrow may be one of the most versatile herbs- along with nettle. It is used topically and internally in all herbal preparations.
