Herb of the Month: Yellow Dock

Herb of the Month: Yellow Dock

Posted by TriLight Health on May 20th 2025

Yellow Dock is one of the most classic examples of a "love your weeds" herb. Gardeners will do almost anything to get rid of it. While herbalists prize and value it. This plant grows virtually anywhere. It pops up in abandoned parking lots, the side of the highway, and in countless backyards. Like a phoenix it will continue to rise even after being cut back, mowed over, and even uprooted! However, herbalists recognize this hardly little plant as a deeply nourishing herb. It has traditionally been used by many people groups and is worth looking at through an herbalist's eyes.
