Summertime will be here before we know it. One of many people's favorite pastimes of summer is eating corn on the cob. Did you know the stringy cornsilk in used by herbalists? It's true! While not a widely used herb, it has documented use from cultures worldwide where corn is grown. These silks are removed, dried, and typically used in herbal infusions and tinctures.  Herbalists consider it one of the most soothing herbs available. It also has an incredible gentle effect making it popular for use amongst children, the elderly, and during pregnancy. They happen to be high in Vitamins C & K as well as Potassium.

How we use it-
