Tri-Iron- May's Special of the Month

Tri-Iron- May's Special of the Month

Posted by TriLight Health on May 27th 2025

In honor of Mother's Day, we thought we would focus this month on one of our most popular products for expecting mothers- Tri-Iron. We heard from countless mothers - and others - that finding an herbal source of iron was quite difficult. Most iron supplements cause nausea and can be hard for the body to absorb. Many are not pregnancy friendly and the ones that are often end up being fully synthetic. Tri-Iron is one of the only all natural, pregnancy-friendly iron supplements on the market. Plus it tastes fantastic- nothing else out there does! It's easy to take and typically improves iron levels quite quickly. Once desired levels are achieved, generally a very small dose is needed for ongoing maintenance levels.

Tri-Iron is our May Special of the Month - 10% off, all month long.

What is in Tri-Iron?

*Nettle Leaf, *Yellow Dock, *Red Raspberry, *Dandelion and *Anise in a base of Kosher Vegetable Glycerine and Reverse Osmosis Water.

These have been used by people groups, herbalist, and even Western Medicine doctors as a source of iron for centuries. Most of these can also be used in culinary preparations as well!

  • Nettle Leaf: Considered one of the most nutrient rich herbs around, including minerals like iron. A common saying among herbalists is- "If in doubt, choose nettle," due to its wide range of traditional uses.
  • Yellow Dock: Rich in iron and traditionally used to support digestion and nutrient absorption, complementing iron-rich blends.
  • Red Raspberry: Prized in herbal traditions for its mineral content and gentle support for women’s wellness- especially during pregnancy.
  • Dandelion: Traditionally used to support liver function and provide a natural source of minerals- also rich in iron.
  • Anise: Included for its pleasant flavor and traditional use in aiding digestion and supporting healthy blood.
This blend of iron rich herbs also supports many other systems throughout the body and acts to build up healthier blood.

How to dose and use it?

Suggested Use1/4 teaspoon (per 75 lbs. body weight) straight or in water once a day. Use the smallest dose first, slowly increase the amount of dosage. Do not take too much iron.* Ensure you are working with a healthcare provider to monitor your levels.

How does it differ from your Herbal Minerals?

While many of the herbs in Tri-Iron support other systems/organs in the body, it is formulated to be extremely high in iron.  While you will get some other vitamins, minerals, and nutrients, our Herbal Mineral blends contain many more. Blue Green Minerals and Original Herbal Minerals are created to be overall multivitamins and provide a much broader spectrum of support.

What else should I know?

Some practioner/OBs/Midwives ask pregnant women to avoid this blend at certain stages of their pregnancy. Please make sure to have approval from your healthcare provider before beginning this blend- especially if you are pregnant, nursing, or have other health concerns.
